What are the entry requirements for this apprenticeship?
There are no specific academic requirements for this apprenticeship, making it accessible to a wide range of candidates. However, apprentices should have a genuine interest in marketing and good communication skills. Basic digital literacy and numeracy skills are also beneficial. During the enrollment process, we conduct a simple English and Maths assessment to identify any additional support needs.
The apprenticeship is delivered through a blend of online and optional in-person learning. Weekly live online sessions (approximately 2 hours) form the core teaching component, and these are recorded for later viewing. Apprentices also complete self-directed learning activities, practical workplace assignments, and can attend optional face-to-face networking workshops. One-to-one tutoring is available seven days a week until 9:00 PM to provide personalized support.
Apprentices typically commit 5-6 hours per week to their studies, which includes the 2-hour live session, approximately 2 hours of self-directed learning (reading, quizzes, etc.), and 1-2 hours for completing workplace-based assignments. The program is designed to be flexible, allowing apprentices to balance their studies with work responsibilities. The employer must allow 20% of the apprentice’s working hours for off-the-job training, which includes all apprenticeship learning activities.
The Level 4 Marketing Executive Apprenticeship is a work-based learning program that covers a broad range of marketing skills and knowledge, assessed through a portfolio of evidence and an end-point assessment. The CIM Level 4 Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing is an internationally recognized professional qualification that focuses specifically on digital marketing techniques and strategies, assessed through formal examinations.
